EARTHQUAKE HITS OHIO BASEBALL GAME

Cleveland Indians felt the ground move during their defeat against the Seattle Mariners after a magnitude-5.8 earthquake has shook the east coast of the United States.

The Major League Baseball matchup still continued despite the significant tremors which the players reportedly did not feel. However fans within Progressive Field certainly noticed the earthquake as the press box and upper deck of the venue shook for about 30 seconds.

Indians manager Manny Acta didn't even know an earthquake had occurred, when asked after a 7-5 win Tuesday afternoon if he felt the shaking. "We just thought that it was our fans jumping up and down," he joked.

The Washington Nationals delayed opening the gates prior to their game on Tuesday night against the D-backs, as team officials checked the stadium for damage.
