Corby Town Football Club is offering football fans of other clubs the chance to take in their last ever match at the Rockingham Triangle on Saturday 30th April, against Hyde, for just £5.
Season ticket holders from any team (excluding Corby or Hyde) can get in for just £5 for the game, simply by presenting their 2010/11 season ticket at one of the designated turnstiles on the afternoon of the game. Concession season ticket holders and junior season ticket holders, when accompanied by a paying adult, can gain admission for £2.
Corby are 12th in the table having won their last home match against Droylsden and aiming for a top ten finish with matches against the bottom three sides to come in their remaining three fixtures. On Saturday they welcome 20th placed Stafford Rangers, they then visit bottom club Redditch United on Monday before Hyde arrive for the final game.
The Steelmen are moving to their new £1.5 million stadium next season and their Blue Square Bet North encounter with the Tigers, who are currently 19th in the table, will be the last match to take place at the ground that the Steelmen have called home since 1985. Acting Chairman David Mallinger explained: "We are all very excited about the move to the new stadium but we wanted to bid farewell to the Triangle in style.
"We're hoping to get a bumper crowd down for the occasion to give the old stadium a proper send off. We'd like to invite supporters from clubs all over the country to come to the game for £5. We hope that this will certainly appeal to fans of our neighbouring clubs in the county, who can pop down and see what we, as a club they perhaps don't get to watch too often, have to offer."
