Italian giants AC Milan have presented proposals to land owners over a potential new stadium for the club.
Barbara Berlusconi, daughter of President Silvio Berlusconi, has issued the plans to acquire land in the vicinity of Milan’s headquarters.
The area consists of 45,000 square-metres between Viale Lodovico Scarampo and Via Gattamelata, and could be the site for a new 50,000-seater venue.
The facility is excepted to have numerous car parks to ease access for residents, and employ a sound-proofing system to minimise noise from the arena.
Plans for the new stadium are not expected to come to fruition anytime soon however, as Berlusconi would also need to convince Milan city council that his vision is worth investing in.
