Elaborate plans for the Atlanta Falcons' new stadium have been made public.

The NFL franchises owner, Arthur Blank, and Atlanta mayor Kasim Reed announced in March plans to build a new stadium for the team and selected 360 Architecture to design the $1 billion venue.

Some of the early renderings for the project have been made public.

The two plans include impact seating, that vibrate when a hit is made, large IMAX-like screens above fan seating to create 360 degrees of immersion in the game, a fantasy football lounge and both proposals showcase retractable roofs.

The move will see the Falcons wave farewell to the Georgia Dome which has been their home since 1992.
