CARLISLE UNITED HOPEFUL OF NEW STADIUM

Directors of Carlisle United have revealed they are still hopeful of moving into a new stadium.

Details of a new plan to move away from their Brunton Park home emerged at a recent fans forum.

Club chairman Andrew Jenkins said there had been a major rethink about moving to a purpose-built ground in Kingmoor Park, which has previously been spoke about.

"We have a project on the go at the moment, which has got a lot of potential,” Jenkins said.

“Directors at the club and everyone involved have signed confidentiality agreements so we are unable to say anything about it."
