CITRUS BOWL SELLS OUT FOR ORLANDO CITY’S FIRST MLS GAME

Orlando City have sold out the Citrus Bowl for their first MLS game, against fellow-debutants New York City.

The two new franchises begin their inaugural season against each other in Florida on Sunday, and Orlando have confirmed that approximately 62,000 spectators are expected to pack into the stadium.

After that game, the club plans to limit the attendance at around 20,000.

That number is closer to the maximum capacity of a new stadium the club is planning to open for the 2016 season.
