Stamford AFC have been granted detailed planning consent for a new stadium by South Kesteven District Council.
The English non-league football club are set to leave their current home, Kettering Road, for a new ground and sports educational facility by the start of the 2014/15 season as part of a partnership with the Burghley House Preservation Trust and New College Stamford.
Daniels director Guy Walton said: "The club is committed to the partnership’s vision of an education and sporting facility.
"This project will deliver an innovative solution to the sporting demand of our community and will benefit many generations to come.
"It will allow the Daniels to deliver a long-term football development plan and engage with community, sporting and charitable ventures."
