Albion Rovers have confirmed that a fire broke out at their Cliftonhill Stadium in the early hours of Wednesday 25th September.
The fire caused extensive damage to the Cafe Bar situated at the ground.
In a statement on the club's website, Albion Rovers Secretary Frank Meade said: "At this stage It is too early to assess the cause of the fire and Police and Fire Brigade investigations are ongoing.
"The SPFL and Peterhead have been advised that Saturday’s match will go ahead as planned, albeit with limited refreshment facilities. As the fire was confined to the Cafe Bar there are no public safety issues concerning the Main Stand which was not damaged."
A further update is expected when more information has been released by the police and fire brigade.
