FOOTBALL STADIUM TO BE BUILT IN NAMIBE

Namibe's strategy to develop sports in the country will include a 10,000-seater football stadium in the south-western province, Angop.

The budget for the facility is expected to be approved by the Government later this year, and construction will start when work on the multi-purpose pavilion that will host the skate hockey World Championship's is finished.

In addition to the stadium announcement, Minister of Youth and Sport, Gonçalves Muandumba, spoke of constructing numerous community sports centres around the country, all in an attempt to re-launch sport in the country.
