Plans for a new Grimsby Town stadium have failed to convince a section of the club's fan base.
Grimsby officials are in talks with developers over the construction of a new venue at Peaks Parkway and Weelsby Avenue.
The Vanarama Confrence outfit are also negotiating with a supermarket retailer to increase the chances of ending the 20-year wait for a move.
But Mariners fans are not entirely convinced at the propositions for a new stadium, with many venting frustration at the club's persistence to move away from Blundell Park.
One fan said: "Sadly the Peaks Parkway proposal is as misguided as the original for a site in Great Coates. Both of these schemes are nothing more than a front for an unwelcome out of town centre shopping centre."
Another said: "The choices are obvious, stay at Blundell Park and remain in oblivion or develop and progress."
