Inter Milan are moving closer to leaving the San Siro which they share with Milan rivals AC Milan.
It is known as one of the most well-known groundshares in the world but it may be coming to an end.
China Railway Construction Corporation has confirmed its subsidiaries are in negotiations over a new stadium for the 18-time Serie A winners. According to China Railway 15th Bureau Group Co, they are in talks with the necessary parties over the development of the venue at San Donato, Milan.
Plans for a new stadium surfaced after the group of Chinese investors became the second largest shareholders by investing in the Serie A club.
The three-time UEFA Champions League holders have called the San Siro home since 1947 and could move out on their 70-year anniversary as an Inter Milan spokesperson stated he expects the stadium to be completed by 2017.
