Designs have been released for a new National Stadium in Japan.
The venue will provide a central stadium for the 2020 Summer Olympics, if Tokyo is chosen as the host.
The new stadium, which is designed by Zaha Hadid, an Iraqi architect based in London, will replace the current Japanese National Stadium which was the main venue for the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
The arena will be built around two streamlined arches and have a retractable roof, and the capacity is likely to be around 80,000.
Construction costs of the potential Olympic venue are estimated to be 130 billion yen ($1.6 billion), and completion is planned for March 2019.
The dismantling the current National Stadium will take 15 months and will begin in July 2014.
