Planning approval has been granted for Conference South club Maidenhead United to build a new 500-seater stand at their York Road home.
The upgrade will see the new grandstand replace the existing structure at the ground.
Magpies Chairman Peter Griffin said: “The club are delighted to announce that planning consent has been given by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead for the new grandstand situated on the railway side of the ground.
“This is a significant milestone in this project and now opens up the next phase which is grant applications.”
The Berkshire outfit are looking to build the stand at the end of next season, with hopes of it being ready for the 2014/15 campaign.
