Manchester City's plans to expand the capacity of the Etihad Stadium are set to be approved.
City want to add 6,250 seats at both ends of the ground in addition to a further 2,000 seats around the pitch, extending the capacity from 47,620 to 62,170.
That would mean that Manchester will have the two largest Premier League grounds.
A report released this week recommends that the plans are approved, with a decision due to be made at a meeting on 13th February.
