Oldham Athletic’s Boundary Park is to be re-named the SportsDirect.com Park.
The retailer Sports Direct have signed a five-year deal with the League 1 club, including shirt sponsorship, an agreement Oldham say is the biggest commercial package in their history.
Latics chairman Simon Corney said: “This is a landmark day for the football club. This deal is a first for Oldham and shows that the long-term future and stability of the club is at the forefront of our minds.”
The first game at the newly-named ground
will see Oldham take on Premier League team Newcastle United on 15th July.
