Italian football club Sampdoria have unveiled plans for a new 30,000-capacity stadium to the Genoa City Council.
The plans for the proposed new venue which the Serie A outfit hope to build within three years was presented by president Edoardo Garrone, and includes 1,000 car park spaces plus another area that could host other sporting events.
Sampdoria want to build the new stadium in the Fiera district on the Genoa seafront but did not say how much the development would cost.
If the stadium build goes ahead it will see the club leave their current Stadio Luigi Ferraris home.
