Tottenham Hotspur are facing a season away from White Hart Lane, with their new stadium unlikely to be ready for the 2017/18 campaign.
The new 56,000 seater venue will require construction on parts of land at Spurs’ current home, meaning the club will have to find a temporary solution for one season.Wembley
have been touted as the most likely options for the club, while soon to be West Ham United’s Olympic Park, has also been speculated.
A Tottenham statement on the matter read: "The club has revised its construction programme in order to take the shortest possible time to construct,"
"This now therefore involves the club moving away from the Lane
during construction for a period of one season, to start at the beginning of a season in order to comply with Premier League rules.”
