THREE MEN CHARGED OVER OLYMPIC STADIUM SPYING

Three men have been charged over alleged unlawful obtaining of information regarding the Olympic Stadium takeover bids.

The Metropolitan Police have charged a trio of men over allegations made in November last year. West Ham United and the Olympic Park Legacy Company suspected that Tottenham Hotspurs had members from each organisation monitored by private investigators.

Tottenham denied the claims but after a 14-month investigation, Howard Hill, 58, Richard Michael Forrest, 30, and 39-year-old Lee Stewart are all due to appear in court on November 28th.

The Olympic Stadium's future is yet to be decided although West Ham United remain favourites to obtain the 99-year lease.
